Photochromic, selective and polarized filters
These low vision aids are especially useful for people who are beginning to notice the visual loss caused by glaucoma.
Their main function is to filter ultraviolet (UV) rays, allowing the visible spectrum of light (i.e., the wavelengths that the human eye can perceive) to pass through. In this way, they offer more comfort than normal sunglasses, allowing people with glaucoma to see better, avoiding the discomfort they may suffer in certain environments where they may suffer from glare or photophobia.
